The hardcopy printed book, shown on the left and printed in 1995, sold out several years ago. We have now digitized the book and it is available for immediate download to your computer or you can get the book on a CD.

The digitized book has the same content, page by page, as the hardcopy version. It contains approximately 600 pages, including a name index and direct lineage charts, with over 250 photos. Families are included from all over the Unites States and some from Canada. For example, the photo in the header above was taken at a Ferguson Family Reunion in Missouri in 1928.

This Ferguson family history was compiled from 15-years of research (before the availability of internet genealogy research), including correspondence with families, researching Court House, cemetery, census, probate and Bible records, birth, death and marriage records for the period 1775-1994 . It provides genealogical history of John Campbell Ferguson and Andrew Ferguson--who settled in Russell County, VA--their descendants and related families. The book index contains approximately 1200 surnames and 9000 given names. The book is registered with the Library of Congress, Catalog Card #: 95-69327.
